Through our anti trafficking network in Peru, we educate over 1,000 students each year about human trafficking. By partnering with schools and implementing anti trafficking curriculum, we stop trafficking before it starts.

Our drop in center is a place of refuge for trafficking survivors. Women can drop in at any time during our office hours for aid. Our team works with these women to help them find safe work and rebuild their lives.
WE FIGHT HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN PERU
In Peru, we fight human trafficking through two key areas: prevention and survivor care.
Preventive Education
Our goal is to stop trafficking before it begins by equipping students and families with knowledge. We teach them how traffickers operate, exposing the deceptive tactics they use to exploit the vulnerable. When communities are informed, children and young people are far less likely to fall prey to lies and manipulation.
Survivor Care
For those who have already experienced exploitation, we provide compassionate, practical support to help them rebuild their lives. Our team walks alongside survivors as they pursue safe work, regain dignity, and begin new, hope-filled futures.
The Crisis in Peru
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that often involves coercion, forced labor, or sexual exploitation. Lima, Peru—with its international airport and population of 11 million—has become a major hub for trafficking. Many young girls from rural regions such as the Amazon Jungle, the Andes Mountains, and the Nazca Desert are lured to the capital with false promises of education or employment, only to be trapped in the sex industry.
Our Response
We reach women through regular outreaches, distributing care bags along with information about our anti-trafficking hotline. When women call, they connect directly with our staff for immediate help and next steps. At our Drop-In Center, survivors can come during office hours to find safety, resources, counseling, and encouragement.
The women we serve are strong, resilient, and courageous. We are honored to walk with them on their journey toward freedom and healing.
Victoria’s Legacy
In 2019, a woman named Victoria was rescued from trafficking through our program. After rebuilding her life with our team’s support, she organized a Christmas outreach in her community to share the gospel and provide gifts to local children. That single act of generosity opened the door to a partnership with the Carabayllo district of Lima, home to more than 300,000 people.
Although Victoria tragically passed away from COVID-19 in 2020, her legacy lives on. Today, our Community Center in Carabayllo continues her vision through:
-One Way kids Bible classes
-A Feeding Program for vulnerable families
-School partnerships that provide preventive education
Victoria’s courage and faith continue to inspire everything we do in this community.
A Beautiful Nation, A Hopeful Future
Peru is a country filled with kind and generous people. It is our privilege to partner with them in the fight against human trafficking and to build a future rooted in hope and the transforming power of the gospel.
